Piolin Restaurant in Hartford

I went to try this restaurant because of some recommendations and The appearance of the restaurant isn't the best from outside neither inside but we thought that might be because was in elections day. The customer service was good, the girl was nice and polite nevertheless a little slow. I think they should train their employees for the apple payment method that they already have included in their bill. The food was 7/10 we asked for tacu tacu with marinaded beef and Tacu tacu with shrimp salsa and portions were good for the price. We'll be back to try other dishes

I've been here before. It had never been a problem for me to order in english. I dont speak spanish. My kids are Peruvian and I'd gone there with the kids and other people who spoke spanish. Never a problem.But this time was HORRIBLE. 1 hour wait time ...customers who came in after us sat ate and left before we even had our food.

First time I've ever eaten there,,,,man o man the food was surprisingly off the wall.... I had the chauffa rice with different mix of seafood, my wife had a seafood dish called parihuela which is simular to a stew...a total delight, I will definitely always eat here and very affordable prices, waitresses are very attentive

The food was amazing! I gave 3 stars because it was freezing inside due to the door opening and closing. The tables are really tight together so people would walk by and rub me while I sat and tried to eat. And the waitress took 15 minutes to bring my receipt.

Picking up was great..we placed the order thru phone..then picked up side window..cooks had on masks!!☺☺

Horrible experience I called and ordered my food at 4:17pm they stated it would take 40 minutes I call once again at 5:26pm where they repeated my order back to me and stated the driver was on his way then I call again at 5:46pm AGAIN and the lady states I ordered my food at 5:26pm and that I have to wait . Rude customer service , horrible delivery I VERY VERY MUCH DISLIKE YOU GUYS . It should not take 2+ hours for TWO PLATES OF FOOD !.

This place is the best! Huge portions suitable for sharing. Great food. Excellent service. Prices are reasonable, considering how big the portions are. Clearly a favorite place for the local Peruvian population. We didn't know what we were getting into. Ordered four dishes for three people, and it would have been enough for 8 people! The waitress did try to warn us. We'll definitely be back.

Food portions are so filling and great. It was my first time trying Peruvian food but I plan on going back.

New owners, the food is trash. I would post a picture but I can’t on this forum. They are nice and friendly but the food is not good I’m not being mean.

Wonderful Peruvian food. Authentic and fresh. The size of the portions is almost to big. The guest room is not fancy and your cloth will probably smell like food for the rest of the night but it's worth it. The prices are ok compare to the more upscale Peruvian restaurants in town. Excellent service.

Delicious Meals with big portions for a good price

Wow! Don't come here if you don't speak Spanish. I had my Wife order to see if they would respect the fact that she does not speak spanish. No respect what so ever. 3 tables arrived after us ordered more meals and left before we did. Unbelievably disrespectful.

I’d always come here with my family every time we go to Hartford! Over a decade and I never get tired of this place; always impressive! This time, we got lucky that we were the first waiting in line, before the line got longer! And the Chicha Morada is one of the best I’ve tried in CT!

This restaurant needs a better customer service, I order food few times, and I have the wrong orders, call back to the restaurant and the person in charge of the front desk dosen't know how to treat a customer. I used to recommend this place but I got enough from this bad customer service. ☠☠☠☠

I love this place. Their food is delicious and they give you large portions. It’s really worth the money and the time you have to wait for a table if it’s full. I took a friend with me today and he totally loved it too.

This was my favorite Peruvian restaurant but remains in the top. I still come back for their "tallarines verdes" and "jalea". Portions are huge and I love it!

The place is usually clean as far as the eye can see. Food is always fresh atleast what we order. We get fried fish meal which comes with white rice and French fries. It is always delicious. We have been going to the new Britain ave location for about 8 years

Best thing to do is eat in! The portions a big and the food is tasty. I been going to the New Britain location for about 10 years. I have no complaints. This one time they overcooked my anticucho but gave me free dessert to compensate. I recommend this spot for some authentic Peruvian cuisine.

The lomo saltado is good, however I had 2 pieces of hard plastic in my meal and when I tried to contact them about it they didn’t answer. Still never got the issue resolved so I won’t be going back.

I always get the lomo saltado. It is my absolute favorite! With the green sauce

Best restaurant in Mass. Portion is excellent, food is always hot and the wait is a normal 20min. And the staff are friendly.

The food is good, but I won’t be spending $15 on a dish- Lomo Saltado - that is basically all fries.
